On September 2 at 12:49 PM PT, the Mill Fire broke out in the City of Weed in Siskiyou County, California. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

So far, the Mill Fire has burned across 4,263 acres. The fire has resulted in 117 destroyed structures, 26 damaged structures, 3 injuries, and 2 fatalities.
