JOB DESCRIPTION

We seek a skilled Research Assistant with specific academic research interests in applying novel data streams to public health and humanitarian response planning. Familiarity with current debates in differential privacy, data ethics, and responsible data practices in a global context is preferred. The Research Assistant will work closely with principal investigators and post-doctoral fellows to manage the core research needs of the CrisisREADY network, including development of data archives, code repositories, metadata forms, literature reviews, and other research needs as they emerge. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on fast-paced interdisciplinary projects with possibilities for quick deadlines particularly during emergency response events.
