Vladimir Corredor Espinel is an Associate Professor and Researcher at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia. His research spans a variety of concentrations, including parasitology — with a focus on malaria — molecular genetics, and molecular evolution. Vladimir’s work has focused on the prevention and control of vector-borne diseases, internal migrations and spread of resistance to antimalarials in Colombia, and molecular mechanisms of antigenic variation in malaria.
